The yellow chair is the result of a 2 day course. The yellow chair is the result of a 2 day course. It needs another hour to complete the back, this can be done at home. The other chair has a piped drop in seat, upholstered from the frame up, finished in a day. Second photo is a huge footstool, also a one day project. My courses are @roguesatelier central York - July 8th, September 22/23/24 and October 13/14/15. 9 til 4.30 at £90 per day. This year my energy levels have been on the floor, and making insta posts has been one thing too much to do, so I’ll sum up in this late post, and try to do better throughout the year. At 1m square and the weight of a small child, it’s a challenging and brave buy, but I can assure you that the walls can take it, and that art should be about being brave. Not for beginners though as accuracy is needed, and once they’re in they’re a real pain to get out!
